Description
Car is in excellent race ready condition. It is very similar to the popular R and S or Rocketsports chassis. Car was fabricated in Canada. All steel tubing has been TIG welded. Cage is chrome moly. The engine is 358 cu. in using the 14 degree Pro Action cylinder head. Compression was kept to 12.0 to 1.0 to be legal for SCCA GT1. Exhaust is stainless steel using merge technology in the collectors. The 4 spd Jerico tranny is light weight and very reliable. We have been a jerico distributer for many years and can attest to their relibility. The rear end is a ford 9" with a steel fabricated housing. Rear camber is set at 1 deg using a double splined adaptor. 3 link suspension controls the rear, and is fully adjustable. The interior has full guage set. The anti-roll bars are cockpit adjustable f. and r. Lexan in front and back. Includes spare front windshield c/w mounted wiper and clip-in power connection. Brakes are Brembo 4 pot, rotors are coleman directional veined and ducted for cooling. Water mister set is included for high braking races like street courses. Bias adjuster in cockpit. Body work is by Derhaag and rear wing is TA spec aluminum. All bodywork, weights and dimensions are complient with SCCA GT1 etc. Car raced in Trans Am in 03,04 and 05. Raced also in AGT. Series champion in 04. All components, both large and small are in excellent condition. Only the best pcs. have been applied. We will offer the purchaser all of our set up notes and techniques.
History
Built in Canada by famed chassis builder "LJ chassis" in 2001. Modified in 2002 by LJ and Webster racing. Raced GT1, Trans Am, laterly AGT.
Recent Competition History
Winner in CCGTC, AGT, SCCA National GT1. Many poles. Always considered car to be a podium contender.
