I have only been around slightly modified and all out race engines. I am planning to buy a roller to race b-mod. I am wondering if my combination would be competitive and need to advice from those who are knowledgable. 415 ci sbc eagle steel 3.85 crank, 6" h beam rods with JE flat top pistons, balanced. I want to use Bowtie vortec heads but am unsure weather the 206cc intake version would match well with a smaller non roller cam and a 2 barrel or if the 180cc would be more suitable. What size and solid or hydro cam is typically used in a B- mod engine, and would you use a single or dual plane intake? Like i say i have mostly been around all out racing small blocks.
