Other Notes: I used this Tonka truck to haul my 17k pound, 39 foot fifth wheel around and it pulls it like it is not even there. The interior is in great condition and looks just like a full size GMC Sierra and not some dirty 6500 series interior with "slurpee" cups and cigarette butts everywhere. I used to be one of those F350, single rear wheel, automatic transmission believers and don't get me wrong, they are fine. However, after 3 transmissions and a blowout that destroyed my truck bed and part of my 5th wheel (because of 5th wheel pin weight), I said no more. The best thing about this truck is that if you have to make a sudden stop, everything comes to a halt without a problem. I used to have to work the electric brake controller on those "surprise" situations - not with this one. Don't expect to break any land-speed records with this truck, as it is not meant for that. With my '99 F350, I used to cruise at 85 mph and try to make the "grape-vine" in record time. That cost me a couple of transmissions. With this truck, you will be able to safely pull up to 26k pounds and do it comfortably. Also, you will not be making a yearly donation to your transmission shop as with automatic transmissions. Top speed that I have towed with on this truck is 75 mph. I got about 8 mpg with my "tricked out" 99 F350 with every Banks Power option you can have (Exhaust, chip, air filter, transmission controllers, etc.). I get about 8 mpg with this truck - and that is towing at 70 mph. You can call or email me with any more questions. Vehicle is located in Los Angeles / Orange County Areas (California).
